Objective/Task:
- Creating deposition transcripts’ summary that is clear, concise and standardized for records
- Generating a precise table of contents in order to make it easier for the reader to find specific topics
- Citing the summary and hyper linking the citations with the original transcript to make it easier for the reader to refer the relevant text and navigate the summary and transcript
The Background of Case
This case pertained to a claim put forward by a family against the asbestos abuse. They had suffered serious health loss. The Depositions summarized pertained to their witnesses recorded by their lawyer.
Challenges:
- Transcripts were of 663 pages and a turnaround time of less than a week (5-working days) was demanded
- Hyper linking summary to transcript was also demanded within the same time frame
